MAYAH has developed a completely new range of professional products with the focus on radio and audio applications. Here, we present for the first time this new family of devices for HD & SD applications in broadcasting. Two main aspects were the driving force for this development: first, higher picture quality for HD and SD applications while maintaining the bit rate or alternatively, further reducing the bit rate to an efficient and thus economic level. The second aspect was to increase the functionality.

While others focus on encoding/decoding only, MAYAH has invested in the functionality of MPEG-4 H.264, bringing it to applications such as multirate encoding, transcoding and flash streaming. We believe that our new range of IOCAST video devices will result in many benefits for the broadcasting and internet market.
